What to know before the installers show.
First and foremost, hire a professional. A professional installer will minimize the appearance of seams and maximize how to make the whole process easier for you. Here a few key things you need to know before they roll up with your new carpet.
BEFORE
Moving but not shaking. For starters, you’ll need to move all the furniture out of any rooms you’re going to be carpeting. Any of our approved installers will be happy to take this task off your shoulders, not to mention your back. It may cost a little more, but it’s worth every penny.
One note: while the installers may indeed do the heavy lifting for you, you will need to move the small items, like any knick knacks, books and collectibles that are in or on that furniture.
DURING
Be there but stay out of harm’s way. You need to be there the day of the installation, not only to let the installers in but also in case they have any questions. Plus, be sure to keep your kids and pets a safe distance away.
AFTER
Sink your toes into utter softness. Carpet is a beautiful thing for both your eyes and your feet. Now is the time to revel in this sumptuous new update to your home.
HELPFUL INFORMATION ABOUT CARPET INSTALLATION

Our installers are as careful as possible. However, working this close to painted walls and base, it is almost impossible not to mark them. We suggest that you keep touch-up paint on hand for such occurrences.
As noted under “Terms and Conditions” on our invoices, we cannot accept liability for breakage of baseboard. This is a construction problem and our installers, who take great care, cannot know if the wall behind the baseboard will stand a power stretch.

Carpet is usually cut around any articles attached to the building such as radiators, railings, etc. If you want carpet under them, please have articles disconnected. We cannot take responsibility for reconnecting them.

The installers must have electricity and, in cold weather, heat.
